Bank of Baroda has announced a recruitment drive for 4,000 Apprentice positions under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The online application process commenced on February 19, 2025, and will conclude on March 11, 2025. This opportunity is open to graduates across various disciplines.

Application Fee:
- General, EWS, and OBC Candidates: ₹800 + GST
- SC/ST and Female Candidates: ₹600 + GST

Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 28 years
- Age Relaxation: Applicable as per government guidelines.
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must possess a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
Vacancy Distribution: The 4,000 Apprentice positions are distributed across various states. For instance, West Bengal has 153 vacancies. Candidates can apply for engagement in one state only. The home district, as per the address mentioned in the Aadhaar ID, will be considered the first preference for the place of training. If no training seat is available in the home district, candidates must provide two additional preferences from the list of available districts.
Selection Process:
- Online Examination: An objective-type test covering:
- General/Financial Awareness
- Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude
- Computer Knowledge
- General English
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called to verify their documents.
- Test of Local Language: Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the state they are applying for. Those who have studied the specified local language in their 10th or 12th standard will not be required to undergo this test.
- Medical Examination: Final selection is subject to the candidate being declared medically fit as per the bank’s requirements.
Stipend Details:
- Metro/Urban Branches: ₹15,000 per month
- Rural/Semi-Urban Branches: ₹12,000 per month
The apprenticeship duration is 12 months, and apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances or benefits.
How to Apply:
- Registration: Candidates must first register on the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal at https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and/or the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at https://nats.education.gov.in.
- Application Submission: After registration, candidates will receive an email from BFSI SSC (info@bfsissc.com) within 48 hours, inviting them to complete the “Application cum Examination Form,” provide necessary details, and pay the application fee online.
- Confirmation: Upon successful payment, candidates will receive a confirmation email with a copy of the completed application form.
